Start Here: Your Wedding Planning Roadmap
Planning a wedding can feel like someone handed you 157 decisions all at once. The good news? You don’t have to make them all today. Start with the decisions that shape everything else, then work forward one step at a time.

Before worrying about napkin colors, favors, signage, or the perfect late-night snack, decide what matters most to the two of you.
Maybe it’s amazing food. Maybe it’s photography. Maybe you want a packed dance floor, beautiful flowers, or simply an easygoing day surrounded by your favorite people.
There is no universal “perfect wedding.” There is only the wedding that works for you.
Start by choosing your big three priorities. Those priorities become your filter when you make decisions later.
If photography is one of your big three, spending more there might make sense. If neither of you cares much about flowers, you don’t suddenly have to care because Pinterest told you to. 😂
Next, establish a comfortable overall budget and begin with the vendors or decisions that affect everything else.
Then stop.
Seriously.
You do not need to plan the entire wedding in one weekend. Your Wedding Planning Companion will keep showing you the next few things worth thinking about.

Choose Your Priorities First
Spend your money, time, and energy on the things you’ll actually remember.
Skip What Doesn’t Fit
You do not need every wedding tradition. Keep the ones you love and skip the ones you don’t.
Think Small Steps
Focus on the next few decisions instead of staring at one enormous wedding checklist.
Choose Your Big Three
Ask each other: “What are the three things that would make us say, ‘That was exactly the wedding we wanted’?” Write those three things down and use them as your filter going forward.
